Reims is getting a brand new EXHIBITION CENTER!

Alongside the construction of the new large event venue, the Reims ARENA, the Reims Exhibition Center has undergone a complete renovation, which will be fully completed during the first quarter of 2021. 
The City of Reims will thus have three complementary event venues (Convention Center, Exhibition Center, Reims ARENA), giving the destination a whole new dimension. 
These three modern and innovative facilities meet the expectations of new European and international standards for trade shows, conventions, and gatherings.

In July 2019, the Exhibition Center began work on the construction of a new exhibition hall to replace the esplanade. This new 6,800 m² hall will be operational in mid-October. In one piece, without pillars, it has a height of 9 meters under the beams, large windows equipped with electric blinds that let in as much light as desired, and customized Internet, electrical, and water networks. Divisible into two parts thanks to a mobile acoustic partition, Hall 2 can host two separate events without noise interference between them. 

The second phase of renovation of the former exhibition center is now complete. Only the main building, comprising Hall 1, the meeting room, and the restaurant, has been retained; the other two halls have been demolished. These fully modular spaces have undergone extensive renovation: the framework, insulation, acoustics, heating system, lighting, latest Wi-Fi system, etc. Everything has been redesigned to bring the new Hall 2 up to the cutting edge of technology.  
To connect these two buildings facing each other, a 1,000 m² entrance hall with floor-to-ceiling windows has been created.

A total of 62,980 square meters of land has been renovated: new entrance and esplanades, new exhibitor parking (at the rear in the logistics area), new green space, etc. The layout, structure, and choice of materials—wood cladding, glass surfaces, quartz concrete flooring—give this new park a modern and elegant feel. It has also been awarded the Grand Reims Durable label for its layout and construction.
Designed by the Reims-based architectural firm Thiénot-Ballan-Zoulaica, the construction and renovation of the new exhibition center was entrusted to Eiffage Construction, and its operation to Reims events – GL events, all under the aegis of Eiffage Concessions.
